Evan is a lifelong boater, USCG Master Captain and business leader specializing in business growth and development Currently the CEO of Sand Dollar Shelling, Naples Boat Tour, and Great Catch Fishing .

Evan was previously a leader in the Automotive Industry as the General Manager of Mazda, Cadillac, Toyota and General Sales Manager of BMW. Rockland Toyota was one of New York States top Toyota dealerships and Top 300 in the Nation for Sales Volume and Customer Satisfaction, Mazda a top CPO producer and CSI turnaround store from bottom 10% to top 25%. Evan’s knowledge of new, pre-owned, service, parts, accounting, marketing, crm, industry technology, automotive construction, software and infrastructure along with management, out of the box thinking, and process improvement have lead to huge success.

Evan is also an elected Village Trustee for Montebello, and a BSA Asst-Scoutmaster, Scout Merit Badge Counselor for Hiking, Bicycling, and Camping.

Born in the summer of 1974, Evan and his sister grew up in Suffern, NY. Evan’s father, Neale Kuperman, is President and General Manager of Rockland Toyota.  Evan’s Mother, Beverly Kuperman is a retired schoolteacher from Nyack High School.

Evan attended public elementary school and graduated Suffern High School. There he was involved in swimming and D.E.C.A.

In 1996 Evan graduated the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, concentration in finance.  Throughout college Evan was Treasurer of Hillel, and both Secretary, and Alumni Secretary of the Delta Chi Fraternity.  These organizations allowed Evan to be involved in both a leadership and a philanthropic position within the community.

After college Evan graduated NADA’s school of automotive dealership management. He was elected class treasurer and responsible for leadership amongst a group of successful entrepreneurs and business owners.

Evan started his post college career in the automobile industry doing financial analysis and designing an internet strategy for United Auto Group/Penske Automotive a NYSE Publicly listed company.  

Evan took the opportunity to team up with his father, to grow Rockland Toyota to become a huge multimillion dollar acquisition for one of the top 100 Auto groups in the nation.  Evan implemented technology and forward thinking into the design of one of the most modern, technologically advanced dealerships in the country and a model for all future automotive facilities. 

He has been written up in Automotive News, and has references to the Rockland Toyota technology and innovation in Wards Dealer Business and The Journal News. 

 

In April, 2004 Evan was honored by the Orangetown Police Department for Community service and support of the D.A.R.E. Program, this was also recognized in the August 16th,  2004 issue of Time Magazine.  Evan along with Rockland Toyota also sponsors Orangetown Little league, a car for the Soapbox derby, NAACP Image awards, Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, Helen Hayes Hospital, Head Start of Rockland, JCC-Y Film Festival and Montebello Jewish Center. 

In December, 2007 Evan was honored by the JCC for being an active Board Member, Co-chair and Sponsor of the Film Festival, Chair of the New Building Technology Committee, Fitness Member and is always being willing to help.

Evan has always been involved with the local community.  He has been a board member of The Rockland County Police Chiefs Association, Head Start of Rockland and a graduate of the 2004 class of Leadership Rockland. 

Currently Evan is involved as a Board member of the JCC Rockland. He is a member of an NADA 20 Group, Co-Chair of the Greater New York Auto Dealer Association NextGen Committee, Cub-Scout Den Leader and Website admin, .Little League coach along with participating with the long term planning committee at his local synagogue.

Evan’s goals in business are the same as in his day to day life, to strive for perfection and excellence, with success being the reward.  He truly believes anything is attainable if you are willing to work for it.

In addition to his organizational involvements, his leisure time is occupied by boating, skiing, daily workouts at the gym, travel, tennis, hiking, golf, biking, Camping, spending time with his family and more recently Peloton Cycle Fitness riding both at home and in the Manhattan Studio.

Evan lives with his wife Anat and three children Elan, Ari and Adina Kuperman in Montebello. Anat is a CPA working with a local camp and an Audit Reviewer for a local Accounting firm.  She is also the PTA Treasurer at Viola Elementary School, and on the Board of Education at Montebello Jewish Center.
